A Reclaimed SoundboardĀ from an antique piano was our canvas for this one-of-a-kind painting. Soundboards have a beautifully distinct design, and they served a unique purpose when theĀ instrument was still intact.Ā The beautifully light spruce woodās job was toĀ amplify the sound of the instrument, makingĀ every soundĀ louder so it could be heard by more people at greater distances. Now, it has been repurposed to shareĀ this message of love.
We Made This ArtĀ using decoupage lettering, a large, subtle heart shape, and acrylic paint. Several layers of paint and medium wereĀ built upĀ to add texture and depth to the panel.
